He was a graduate of St. Peter's College, Jersey City and held his Master's Degree in Finance. Martin was the Chief Financial Officer of Atalanta Food Corporation, Elizabeth, N. J., retiring in 1991. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Avon. Martin was the loving PopPop of Thomas, Mary, Sean, Maggie, Colleen, Kelly, Bobby and Nora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Lincoln Ave., Avon. He was born on March 3, 1941 in Jersey City, NJ son of the late Bernhard and Hertha Lindloge Hesse. He retired from Arkansas Glass Co. He was a member of American Legion Post 136 in Lodi, NJ. He served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by two sons and a daughter in law Jerome and Christy Hesse of Cassellberry, FL, and Steven Hesse of Berwyn, IL, and four grandchildren Aryanna, Airryn, Brianna, Sadie Hesse.
